Job Title: Business Intelligence Associate
Job Description: This is a work-from-home position within the United States. The Business Intelligence Associate will work closely with the leadership team to produce and analyze financial intelligence, drive strategic initiatives, strengthen operational efficiency, and ensure alignment across departments.
Job Duties:
Analyzing referral, triage, diagnostic, and treatment workflows across company's virtual oncology model;
Identifying trends in patient access, time-to-care, drop-off points, and utilization;
Designing dashboards tracking KPIs (referral volume, time to oncology consultation, follow-up rates, care coordination outcomes);
Preparing executive-level summaries, board-ready reports, and payer-facing analyses;
Providing data-driven recommendations to support growth strategy, pilot expansion, and operational changes (e.g., payor expansion, hospital pilot).
The Business Intelligence Associate position is a work‑from‑home role based in the United States
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or Business Analytics; plus one year of experience in a business analysis position with a strategic consulting firm required.
Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:
Working on multiple workstreams within strategy and operations and supporting concurrent healthcare initiatives in the healthcare domain;
Developing persuasive, client- facing PowerPoint presentations and proposals;
Collaborating with healthcare experts and conducting expert interviews;
Using CPT codes for service-based and cost modeling and DRG codes for patient classification and prospective payment modeling;
The Medicare Star Rating Program, innovative value-based care model, and payor workflow innovations;
Advanced experience with Excel for ROI analysis and leveraging CMS (Center of Medicare and Medicaid) datasets and payor reporting data to model payor initiatives;
Must have knowledge of Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
